"12 Rounds" Myrtle Beach man charged with armed robbery, assault A Myrtle Beach man is jailed and facing armed robbery and assault charges, according to booking records at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Jamal Marcquis Burgess, 20, also is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, perjury and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Burgess is awaiting a bond hearing at the jail. 'Sandcastles Made Simple' Just in time for summer vacations comes "Sandcastles Made Simple" (Stewart, Tabori & Chang, $10.95) by Lucinda "Sandy Feet" Wierenga.
