| Grand Strand Junior Women's Club presents Victory Over Violence The Grand Strand Junior Women's Club (GSJWC) is sponsoring the 6th Annual Victory Over Violence Silent Auction to benefit CASA (Citizens Against Spousal Abuse), on Saturday, April 18th at Martini’s Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach. The event will begin at 6:00 pm and will include live entertainment by Ventura Highway and Emcee Greg Rowles. Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased in advance at Martini’s Restaurant or Me & Mommy. The silent auction will include items such as a photography package, dinner packages, golf and sport packages and much more! By attending you will be supporting our local CASA chapter and hundreds of women and men affected by spousal abuse each year. Help us reach our goal of raising $20,000! The GSJWC is a civic, non-profit organization that was founded in 2001. Members share a common goal: a sincere dedication to community improvement through volunteerism. Members offer their time, talent and resources to raise money and awareness for local charities and global issues. Would you like to be part of the GSJWC? They hold meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Social time begins at 6:30 pm and the meeting begins at 7:00 pm. There are guest speakers or activities that relate to the months theme and the meeting is usually adjourned by 8:15 pm. Meetings are held at area restaurants where you can order from the menu.
