ONLINE Iran cancels Iraq security talks with Iran called off further Iraq security talks with Washington until U.S. forces stop their crackdown on Shiite militias, but the military brought more air power into the fight Monday and escalated its accusations of Iranian backing for extremists.

The latest flare-up has put Iraq's government in a bind as it seeks to stamp out armed Shiite gangs but worries about angering Shiite heavyweight Iran, which has close ties to the core of Iraq's political leadership.

Washington has long accused Iran of arming and training some Shiite militia factions. The accusations were sharpened Monday as the military said detainees described being trained at bases outside Tehran by militants from Hezbollah, an Iranian-aided faction based in Lebanon. LOTTERIES South

SC Pirates and Richmond meet in Southeast division final

Mother's day will be special with both teams recognizing the ones who got us where we are!

Pirates forward, Jeff King and his mother, Dawn..on May 11th, during the Southeast division finals, the SC Pirates and the Richmond Robins meet. All mom's get "FREE" admission to the game and are recognized during the game.
The stage is set. Sunday May 11th. The Southeast division finals 1:00pm Pirates versus the Richmond Robins. Mother's day in Little River. In order to honor our mom's, the SC Pirates will be offering free admission to the wonderful women who gave us all what we have. Whether it be making our peanut butter and jelly, to reading a bedtime story, to fixing a skinned knee, we at the Pirates have made Sunday May 11th Mom's very own personal day.
Just bring mom to the game and she'll get free admission accompanied by her family. The Pirates will also have name tags that mom's can fill out to let everyone know how special she is. At half time between games one and two, the Pirates have a special honor planned for every mother in the building.
Let's not forget the hockey either...Richmond brings a very fast and skilled team to Little River Sunday @ 1:00pm. Led by RK Kent who finished as the team's leading scorer, the Pirates will have their work cut out for them. The last time these two teams met, Kevin Columbo played superb in net shutting down the Pirates and giving the Robins the edge to win the game. Both teams split the games with identical scores, 5 - 4.
This weekend it's all on the line....$1,000.00 and the SouthEast division title and the advancement to the Conference finals.
