Stress and criminals

Crimes committed by returning Iraq war veterans have caught the attention - and sympathies - of lawmakers and veterans groups. California passed legislation in 2006, and at least four other states have drafted or considered laws to empower judges to send these veterans to treatment in lieu of prison because their crimes may be the byproduct of war.

Days/Times: Each concert is from 7:00 – 9:00 pm
May 16th – Fat Jack Band (Blues, Funk, Soul)
June 20th – Coconut Grove Band (Motown, 60’s & 70’s, Oldies)
July 18th – Sea-Cruz (beach)
August 15th – Too Much Sylvia (Top 40’s from 60’s to today)
September 19th – Jim Quick and Coastline (beach/blues)
Fee: Free

Enjoy an evening with your family and friends listening to live music, picnicking and playing in the safe and fun environment of beautiful McLean Park. Each concert will feature a different band playing family friendly music. Bring a lawn chair, blanket, food and non-alcoholic beverages. The North Strand Optimist Club will provide food and drinks for sale.
