| NMB Dept. of Public Safety will hold benefit car washes from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, at Lowes parking lot and Preston’s parking lot. Proceeds from the car washes will be used to assist an NMB firefighter with large medical bills. The firefighter, who puts his life on the line for our residents and visitors, has been fighting for his life since October. He is married and has two children. For the sake of privacy, the family has asked that his name not be published, although the family would like to extend their thanks to all those who are supporting these fund raisers. |
