The Flounder Frenzie hosted by the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce works in conjunction with the Dixie Chicken Fishing Funament to help raise awareness of the fishing recreation in the area.

This year the Flounder Frenzie will be held on Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 at Harbourgate Marina in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Register early by downloading a form here!

Fishing categories for the Flounder Frenzie include (inshore fishing only) pier, surf, inlet, waterway and jetty areas. Entry fee is $35.00, and entries must be turned in by Friday, May 22nd at 5:00 pm during the registration held at Harbourgate Marina in North Myrtle Beach.

The fund-raising efforts from this event go toward the building and development of the Jim Caudle Artificial Reef.
