Loris Winter WonderlandThe old A to Z Consignment Building located on Loris Main Street (near Fowler's) will be turned into a Winter Wonderland. For eight nights you will be able to see Santa and take pictures with him, get your gifts that were purchased in Loris wrapped for free, entertainment, children activities such as art contest, Christmas crafts, cookie decorating, Christmas movies and much more. For the adults you will be able to learn how to make a wreath, glass blown ornaments, pottery, bows for Christmas and maybe a cooking demo. (some activities are still in the works) Also, we will be providing live Christmas trees for anyone that would like to decorate a tree for a tree auction on the last day of the winter wonderland. We will have a silent auction all through the week on all trees. If you are interested in decorating a tree for us please contact me as soon as possible. We will also have family portraits sets for those that want a new family portrait made. No need to go far for you new family photo. A lot more activities will be going on that week and will be available at a later time. We will be taking up gifts and can foods for a needy family too. You can bring your items to the chamber or drop them off at the Winter Wonderland during the week. If you have any questions, suggestion or time to volunteer please contact me at the chamber.
